That's why we've developed this super-lightweight road bike climbing machine called El Dorado. Our model El Dorado combines these essential features and adds precise and direct handling for twisty descents.

Lightweight and Aerodynamics

 

El Dorado is the best blend of lightweight, aerodynamics, and stylish design at an affordable price. El Dorado has been designed not only for low overall weight but also for good aerodynamic performance. The frame, fork, seat post, and seat stays feature a flattened aero design that reduces air resistance, which is particularly noticeable when descending or on flat sections of the route.

 

Equipped with Shimano's Ultegra 2x12-speed Di2 groupset, El Dorado weighs only 6950 grams. Opting for the optional Dura-Ace groupset further reduces the weight to 6750 grams (excluding pedals and bottle cages and with an 11-30 cassette).

Super-lightweight Wheels

​

For El Dorado, we have developed an extra-lightweight wheelset featuring 35mm carbon rims, 18/20 Sapim CX Ray spokes with internal nipples, and a lightweight hub with ceramic bearings. This wheelset is not only light and accelerates extremely well on steep climbs but also has very low air resistance.

The gold/black color combination provides an elegant overall impression, but of course, you can also have El Dorado in your favorite colors.

Bike Fitting Included

 

When you buy a Vélobsessive racing bike, bike fitting is included in the purchase price. All relevant body parameters are measured precisely. Then we calculate the optimal frame size and all dimensions for the desired bike model. The exact configuration of the crank, cassette, handlebar and stem dimensions will also be discussed with you and ordered to suit your preferences.
