Conventional road bikes typically use a stack of separate headset cap and spacers — up to nine individual pieces — to achieve the required handlebar height. Vélobsessive replaces all of that with a single, precision-engineered component manufactured using 3D printing technology.
The result is cleaner aesthetics, exact stack height, and a significantly reduced number of joints where dirt and water could otherwise ingress.
As part of the Vélobsessive bike fitting process, the exact required build height is determined for each individual customer. The headset cap and spacer combination is then manufactured as a single piece — tailored to the millimeter. The design also supports integrated cable routing, contributing to the clean, polished overall impression that defines every Vélobsessive build.
