Vélobsessive presents its new set of carbon wheels for disc brakes — featuring corrugated rim technology, aerodynamic carbon spokes and ceramic bearings, all weighing just 1,288 g.
The wavy carbon rims are available in two aero configurations: 45/50 mm and 60/65 mm depth — each with a 21 mm internal width. They combine stability, speed, and significantly reduced sensitivity to crosswinds. The design ensures outstanding aerodynamic performance, perfect for fast climbs, competitive racing, and explosive sprints.
At 3.1 mm wide and only 2.9 g each, the aero bladed carbon spokes optimize airflow and save crucial watts. The lightweight hubs with premium-grade ceramic bearings minimize friction and guarantee maximum drivetrain efficiency. A 36-tooth ratchet freehub system ensures direct power transmission and rapid acceleration.
The asymmetrical lacing ensures balanced spoke tension on both sides — providing greater durability, stiffness, and optimal control in all riding conditions.
The wheelset can be run with tubes or tubeless — ideal for both racing and training environments.
All Vélobsessive road and triathlon models can optionally be equipped with this wheelset — for maximum performance from the very first meter. With this wheelset, Vélobsessive sets a new benchmark for performance-driven riders who refuse to compromise.

[ THE MAN BEHIND THE BLOG ]
Thomas Glättli is the driving force behind Vélobsessive. As an enthusiastic cyclist and dedicated amateur athlete, he was tired of compromising when it came to finding the perfect road bike. In 2019, he founded Vélobsessive with a clear goal: the rider shouldn't have to fit the bike; the bike should fit the rider.
