Vélobsessive has struck again. The brand new Purple Air 2024 triathlon and time trial bike sets new standards compared to its previous model — here are the features that make it a must-have for triathletes and time trial enthusiasts.
The Purple Air 2024 is lighter than its predecessor and features further refined aerodynamics. Reduced weight means faster acceleration and improved maneuverability, while the optimized aero profile delivers maximum speed on the course. Integrated cable routing contributes both to a clean aesthetic and to the bike's overall aerodynamic performance.
The cockpit has been completely redesigned. Handlebars and handlebar extensions are now made entirely of carbon — delivering outstanding strength at feather-light weight. Extensions are available in a flat and a raised version to suit different riding preferences.
The cockpit now features a standard clamp, allowing handlebars and extensions from other manufacturers to be mounted. This gives riders the freedom to adapt the setup to their individual needs — flexibility and adaptability at the core of the design.
The Purple Air 2024 offers a choice between an in-house wheelset with 80 mm rims at the rear and 60 mm at the front, or a disc wheel at the rear — allowing each rider to configure the bike to their preferences and specific race requirements.
